Senior Power BI Developer

Role Overview
As a Senior BI Developer, you will design, develop, and optimize end-to-end BI solutions from ETL pipelines and data warehouses to interactive Power BI dashboards. You’ll also play a key role in migrating legacy BI platforms (Qlik Sense) to Power BI and shaping modern analytics architecture using Microsoft Fabric concepts.

Key Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and maintain SSIS ETL pipelines (control flow, data flow, transformations, error handling, file system tasks, Excel ingestion & cleansing).
2. Build and optimize T-SQL queries (joins, aggregations, CTEs).
3. Develop robust Power BI data models and visualizations.
4. Apply advanced DAX concepts (row context, filter context, context transition).
5. Architect and implement data warehouse solutions integrated with Power BI.
6. Lead migration from legacy BI tools (Qlik Sense) to Power BI.
7. Implement and manage dataflows, data lakes, and Microsoft Fabric components.
8. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable BI solutions.
9. Define and promote Power BI best practices across the organization.

What We are Looking For
1. 4–5 years of hands-on experience with SSIS, Power BI, and SQL.
2. Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL architecture, and enterprise BI deployments.
Proven experience working with mid to large-scale BI environments.
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, data lakes, and modern data platforms.
Prior experience with Qlik Sense (highly desirable).
